Garage Door Cables
Has your Garage Door come off the tracks? Tension Cables on your Garage Door control the level of your door. The torsion spring on your garage door is connected to the front torsion system and the Overhead Door Cables allow the bottom panel of the door to lift, causing a counter balance. If your garage door cables are broken or loose there could be a problem with your Overhead Door spring. Garage Door Cables will stretch over time due to the amount of tension they handle on the daily basis. It is important to properly maintain your Overhead Door tension Cables so that you don’t get stuck in your garage.
UNDER EXTREME TENSION
Garage Door Cables are under a lot of tension from the Tension Spring putting pressure on the Garage Door lifting system. If your Garage Door won’t go up there may be a problem with the door cables spooling up properly.
Heavy Duty Door Cables!
Garage Door Cables come in different strengths depending on the weight of your Overhead Door. Larger Overhead Door systems will have a stronger torsion cable, and smaller lighter garage doors will have a smaller cable. Front Torsion Cables are prone to rust therefore need to be replaced in some cases.
